Standard Combat units

Standard Combat Units or SCU’s form the backbone of Black Factions combat and Neon Dark extraction operations. Performing all of the most dangerous tasks in the company including facing off against competition in deadly combat, the SCU has become the prevailing symbol of Black Faction.

Who Are The Standard Combat Units?

Standard Combat Units ranks are typically made up of young women between the ages of 18 to 45 with some serving beyond 45 into their 50s with elements of augmentation.

Most are from the lower classes of all economic zones who are lured by the hefty pay which comes at the end of a service contract. A service contract lasts 4 years at a rate of CR3000 per day, with a total pay-out of CR4,300,000 at the end of service minus bonuses.

This is more than enough to purchase an apartment in a nice city with enough cash left over for a good decade of comfortable living.

Most leave after one contract term as they come to the conclusion its too dangerous to stay on, but quite a number stay on form two, three or more contracts, setting themselves up for a very comfortable life once they leave.

Most are not evil or looking to kill for a living, but the lure of money and orders from the top sees many committing acts that paint their souls black.

Uniform

The design of the uniforms were untaken by the Mistress herself. She wanted every single body to be a projection of her will and power. A sexual being not of lust and pleasure but of power and fear. Modelled from the classic aesthetic of dominatrix she wanted a tall proud army of obedient dominators. The high cut bodysuit projecting the hips with a dagger like chevron into crotch with peaks of flesh of thigh and booty. Gloved hands to serve purpose in extracting Neon Dark from Branches. Thigh high boots for added protection in environments but also stilettoes for the audible clack, especially when there are hundreds of them. 95% of their operational areas are concrete remnants of the experiment so these are not a problem. The most stark feature is the mask, hiding all expression except for the eyes. The Mistress wanted to dehumanise them as much as possible, make them all one and all equal.
